Our roots

The Laryngology and Voice Association was founded in 2010  and registered as per the societies Registration Act 1860 at Pune, Maharashtra. 

This was an amalgamation of the Indian Voice Association (IVA) and the Laryngology Society of India.  

Prior to that, the IVA had been functioning since 1995 from Sanjeevani Hospital, Pune and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune in December 2001  The IVA had been conducting various national and international workshops since then. 

With the formal incorporation of the LVA, the association started to conduct Annual Conferences across the breadth of the country. 

Founder members

The LVA was founded under the visionary stewardship of Mr Vasant Oswal and the founder members. 

Past presidents

The leadership provided by various luminaries across the country has enabled the association to flourish and gain international acceptance.
